Shipping Containers, Built Into Something
Containers cut, framed, finished, and delivered as livable space. Guest quarters, hunting camps, short-term rentals, or a place to stay on the property while the main build goes up.
Two Containers, One Weekend Place
We built a weekend retreat out of two shipping containers with three private suites, a bunk room, a kitchen, a living area, a bathroom, a covered porch, and an overlook deck. Delivered fully serviced with water, power, air conditioning, and heat.
The Two-Container Retreat
It starts as two steel boxes sitting on a bluff and ends as a place you can sleep in the night it is finished. Cutting the openings is the easy part. What makes it livable is everything after: structure, framing, insulation, wiring, plumbing, and a finish that does not read as industrial unless you want it to.
-
01
Set on Site Ground cleared and leveled, both containers set and squared where the build will sit. -
02
Structure Up Steel roof structure welded across both containers, tying them into one building. -
03
Cut and Closed In Openings cut and reinforced, doors and windows set, roof panel on, deck framing started. -
04
Deck and Stain Covered deck built the length of the suites and stained, looking out over the country below. -
05
Finished Sliding doors, trim, lighting, and a covered porch between the two containers.
The Finished Retreat
A walkthrough of the completed build, from the porch through the interior.
Two containers, three suites, a bunk room, and an overlook deck.
A Real Option, Not a Novelty
Container builds make the most sense when you need finished space on a property that does not have any.
Guest Quarters
A place for family to stay that is not the spare room, set wherever on the property makes sense.
Hunting Camp
Lockable, insulated, and serviced. Leave it on the lease and it is ready every season without a setup day.
Short-Term Rental
Something different enough to book. A container retreat on acreage rents on the strength of being unusual.
Stay While You Build
Somewhere to live on the land during a ground-up build, that keeps its value as guest space afterward.
Office or Shop Space
Conditioned working space set next to a shop or on a job site, wired and finished to what the work needs.
Built Fast
The structure already exists, so the schedule is about finish-out instead of framing. They come together quickly and they hold up.
