Privacy Policy

Bar D Construction & Land Services ("Bar D," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

Information We Collect

We only collect what you give us. When you submit the quote form, that is:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number and email address
  • Your project type, project location, rough size or scope, and timeline
  • Anything you type into the project details box

We do not ask for and do not want financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive identifiers through this website. Please do not send them.

How We Use It

We use your information to respond to your request, prepare a quote, schedule a site visit, and communicate with you about the work. If you become a customer, we use it to run the job. That is the whole purpose.

We Do Not Sell Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not use it for targeted advertising and we do not share it with data brokers.

Who Processes It

Form submissions are handled by Formspree, a third-party form processing service, which delivers them to our email. Our website is served by our hosting provider. These providers process the data on our behalf and are subject to their own privacy terms. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Video

Any video on this site is hosted by us and served from our own website. We do not embed video from social media or video platforms, so watching a clip here does not load anything from a third party and does not report your visit to one.

Subcontractors

If your project requires a licensed trade, such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC, we share only what that subcontractor needs to do the work, typically your name, the job address, and the scope. Nothing more.

How Long We Keep It

We keep quote requests and job records as long as we have a business reason to, including warranty and tax recordkeeping. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your Rights Under Texas Law

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents may request to:

  • Confirm whether we are processing your personal data and access it
  • Correct inaccuracies in your personal data
  • Delete personal data you provided to us
  • Obtain a copy of the data you provided in a portable format
  • Opt out of the sale of personal data or targeted advertising, neither of which we do

To make a request, call us at (512) 525-6475 or send it through our contact form. We will respond within the timeframe the law allows and may need to verify your identity first. If we deny a request, you may appeal by contacting us again and telling us you are appealing.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser may store standard technical data required to load the page.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive personal identifiers through this website.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
